ABDUCTION!

Okay, the new squeezed juice this week is an app called "Abduction". There are millions of nerves connecting and random thoughts of alien anal probes going through you're mind right?? Well if so, you're effin crazy or you're me trying to a platform jumping cow up to a spaceship to save little moo moo's fellow abducted leathery friends.

I pretty much gave away the point of this app...you're a cow that jumps willingly into a spaceship.  Yep.

Along the way there are parachuted gift boxes that make your beloved platforms crumble or populate. Kind of a rough relationship if u ask me everyone's initial response to a neatly gifted box floating above them is always excitement; instead sometimes you get a shitty gift that makes the platforms you're jumping on disappear.

Evelyn's Lesson #39: Don't accept nicely boxed parachuted gifts from the sky...especially from aliens.  You never know if that gift might be a crate full of un-wanted canned pumpkin mix.

I guess one of the many features that have kept me from uninstalling this app would be that I could use the tilt feature on my phone.  I'm in such awe that I have a piece of technology in my hands that response to my movement and isn't connected to a platform game.

The developers have put in a lot of time on the UI, for example you can go into the options menu and calibrate your phone on a flat surface so the sensitivity is accurate when tilting beefy toward an incoming platform.
Abduction, has six levels from easy to infinite evil.  The six levels don't include the two others where you would have the option to buy the app and open up 9 more themes, 23, more characters, 22 adventure levels, 54 challenges and the option to design your own levels.

Now to be honest, I wasn't the biggest fan on hopping cows, but it's the perfect quick game if you're in a break room pretending to listen to co-workers.  And the more I played with this app, the more I pushed toward helping my fellow cow by getting to that spaceship.

So, ladies, fella's, GET YER GAME ON @ AppBrain or Psym Mobile to get the down-low on the down-loadables.

Alchemy Update

Okay, I've some how amazingly got a response from the creator, Andrey "Zed" Zaiken.  And also had a response about possibly developing an iPhone app, unfortunately this still remains a possibility and really depends on time constraints.

Thanks Andrey for responding to my fangirl page!!  I look forward to enjoying your next app,...app'in it up.

Addiction is the name and Alchemy is the game

Time for the new App of the week, Alchemy.  I must admit I wasn't on a mission to find anything remotely close to that word, considering that I was looking for Full Metal Alchemist wall paper.  So the only thing I have to say about that would be, "DOWNLOAD THIS NOW"!!!
I used to be one of those "four square" people, but now I just don't have time to aquire fake mayorships across town; instead I can be crazy in private :)

According to App Brain "You have only four base elements: Fire, Water, Earth and Air. Combine them and their products to get more than 200 new elements. You can create a Life, Beer, Vampires, Skyscrapers and many more..".

So, once I dragged water into earth, I came up with mud, and so forth, and I must say the combinations are virtually endless. You get this tiny little "high" when you've made a new combination, your phone vibrates twice and "zap" a new creature, zombie, plant, or element had appeared.  Basically you make the elements hump.

And quite similar to Korn, all day long I dream about alchemy; yes, making them hump, over, and over, and over, and over again.

Like the ex's in my life, I've tossed "Paper Toss" aside to see if can come up with all 200 combinations before the next update...THE NEXT UPDATE!!! THERE WILL BE MORE ALCHEMY, SWEET ASS!!

So, here is the page(located by the link above an below this sentence) and the brain where this beautiful game came from is named Andrey "Zed" Zaikin.
And lastly, but not least, this app only appears to be on the Android operating systems, sorry iPhone Kiddies; the wait may be over soon if the developer gets back to me on a possible app for the iPhone.  So, check back in!!

Hopefully Andrey will love my review as much I as I love being addicted...so, everyone...

Get your game on, download this now!!

First Game App "Paper Toss"

Okay so the first game app I downloaded was "Paper Toss" within about a month of getting my phone,... long story short, I still have the game and play it every chance I get.  I'd rather be playing this game all day instead of trying to tack-on a piece of paper that costs $20.00 just in-case some shit happens to your delicate handheld electronic. Can you tell I work retail?

So this paper balled adventure starts everyday around 2pm when I clock out for break and ends abruptly at 230pm.  I fire-up the app, impatiently wait for it to load and tap on my favorite level, Medium.  The goal: a waste basket; the place: an office cubicle running Windows XP on the distant monitor; the obstacle: a cleverly positioned fan that changes wind pattern; and finally the purpose: to sink as many of those paper balls consecutively without faltering.

This is an excellent game app for your phone, especially if you have to use the touch feature because you have the ability to flick your paper balls into your goal.

Like most games, Backflip Games, added not only Medium, but Easy and Hard as well.  This game also came with a sort-of unexpected twist to it's levels like: the background ambience to a cubicle area, co-worker voices, if you screw up enough of course' they'll get pissed, and three more levels that are named; Airport, Bathroom, and Basement.

I highly reccomend downloading this game if you have a job you don't enjoy every second of, and can spare at least 5-35 minutes on.  My only suggestion would be to add an upgrade called "Food Toss", this way I could flick all the peas I never ate at the bitch across the break room.

Oh, the few precious minutes between clocking-in and clocking-out on my meal break go by too quickly.  I can't help but immerse myself in a virtual world of throwing a piece of paper into a waste basket, there just aren't enough paper towels to cover the damage I've done for the high score on this end.  Though I think it's kind of justified, I'm trying to stay Eco-friendly :)

The pretentious smart phone

So recently, I've managed to get my hands onto a smart phone that has the capability to download a billion Apps.  And yes, sad to say, I've also turned into one of those pretentious looking a-holes in Trader Joe's that "finger" through my phone to check competitor prices then shortly after responding to my mate, (no matter the question), "Oh, there's an App for that!".  Quietly realizing what I've turned into, I continue "fingering" my phone for more downloadable, addicting games.
I guess that was really the point to buying my smart phone, free apps.  So while "the gettin's good" I'm going to spend the majority of my time testing, judging, and suggesting new way a particular apps or games could be improved upon, until I can get the career I want in the video game industry.
